MR Enterography Protocols

MR enterography is used for non-invasive evaluation of intra- and extraluminal small bowel disease in patients with Crohn’s disease without ionizing radiation.
Associate Professor Benjamin Henninger, M.D. (Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria) shares his protocols for MR enterography.
Protocols have been developed for 1.5T MAGNETOM Avantofit using software version syngo MR E11 and comprise commonly used T2-weighted HASTE, HASTE IR and VIBE sequences for the visualization of bowel disease in terms of dark lumen and bright lumen techniques.
